Family Weekend Football

The University of Kentucky will face off against South Alabama during Family Weekend, Saturday, September 26, 2026, with kickoff at 12:45 p.m. ET. Before the game, enjoy the excitement of campus traditions, including the Cat Walk, where fans line the route near Gate 1 to welcome the team as they arrive at the stadium.

Football tickets will be sold separately from Family Weekend registration. Registrants will receive a link in their confirmation email to access the UK Athletics Family Weekend ticketing website.

Tickets for the Family Weekend football game go on sale July 1 and start at $30 (plus fees) for Family Weekend guests with pricing based on location and availability in reserved seating areas (while supplies last).

Students who have purchased a student pass for the student section cannot use that ticket to sit in the Family Weekend reserved seating area. If students would like to sit with their family in the reserved section, they will need to purchase a separate reserved seat ticket.

To ensure your group is seated together, all tickets should be purchased in the same transaction.

All tickets will be mobile and will be available to access through the UK Athletics app or by logging into My UK Athletics Account from a mobile device after purchasing. For assistance with accessing mobile tickets, visit UKathletics.com/MobileTickets. Ticket barcodes will be available to view in your online account beginning in early August.

A clear bag policy is in effect at Kroger Field. Family Weekend participants will receive one clear tote bag as part of their basic registration at check-in (additional tote bags will also be available for purchase at the time of registration). Tips for Planning Your Game Day Experience

General Game Day Parking:

The Cornerstone Parking Garage on S. Limestone will be open Friday - Sunday during Family Weekend and will not require a permit.

A map for non-permit RV parking can be found here under the heading "RV Information."

Visit https://transportation.uky.edu/relocation for information about additional parking structures available for the public during game days.

Reserved Game Day Parking:

Take the stress out of game day with convenient Family Weekend Game Day parking (while supplies last) and complimentary shuttle service for registered guests. Choose the location that works best for your family and ensure easy access to transportation throughout the day:

Scott Street Lot – $40 per car
Gatton Student Center (Avenue of Champions) – $50 per car
Hilltop Drive Lot (across from The 90) – $60 per car (closest to Family Weekend pre-game activities)

Reserved parking access begins at 8 a.m. ET and will run through 5 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 26.

Tailgating is not permitted in the Family Weekend reserved parking lots.

Complimentary shuttle service will be available on game day for registered Family Weekend guests. Our premium party-style buses (30 people max. per bus) feature comfortable seating, beverages, and a fun game day atmosphere while transporting families between their parking locations and the Family Weekend Alumni, Family, & Friends Tailgate. Kroger Field is a short walk from the tailgate down University Drive. Following the game, guests can enjoy our return shuttle service back to their original parking lot, helping them avoid post-game traffic and crowds.

Service begins at 9 a.m. and continues until 1 hour after the game ends.

There is always a lot going on in Lexington in the fall. We encourage you to book your overnight accommodations early as availability is more limited during football weekends. VisitLEX.com has some great suggestions for hotels, restaurants, and things to do in Lexington to assist you in making your plans.

With a valid state-issued disabled hang tag fans can park in the single game reserved lots located on the corner of Woodland Ave. and Columbia Ave. near William T. Young Library. The cost per vehicle is $50, and we will only accept card payments. Once the Non-Reserved Disabled Lot is full, guests will be directed to park in Parking Structures 2 or 6.
A limited mobility guest golf cart shuttle is available from Gate 6 to any other gate outside of Kroger Field. Golf carts are not permitted to drive into the parking lots for patron assistance. Check with Guest Services for additional help.
Guest Services booths are located outside of Gates 1, 4, 9 & 12; inside on the lower concourse near sections 6, 16, 26 & 36; and on the upper concourse near sections 206.
