Family Weekend September 25-27, 2026

The Office of Family and Civic Engagement invites all UK students and their guests to Family Weekend for a chance to enjoy campus life and make lasting memories together!

Can’t make it? You’re always welcome to visit campus another time that works best for your family.

The full schedule will be released this summer, and registration opens July 1 in the Cat Chat Family Community. Until then, book your hotel rooms and get ready for an unforgettable weekend!

The Family Weekend schedule is full of exciting ways to experience UK traditions and make memories with your Wildcat. Customize your visit with optional excursions, tours, and events—whether you're joining us for a single day or the whole weekend. How you spend Family Weekend is entirely up to you!

Make Accommodations Arrangements

The University of Kentucky campus is large and Family Weekend guests may be required to travel longer physical distances and stand at events. If someone in your party needs a wheelchair or other mobility equipment, please make arrangements ahead of time to bring equipment with you or rent from a local vendor. ADA parking is available on campus with any ADA parking permit and event drop-off location information will be available this fall.

The Family Weekend team will do our best to accommodate disclosed dietary restrictions but cannot guarantee completely gluten-free, dairy-free, or nut-free spaces. If you have any unique dietary concerns, please identify them on your registration form AND contact parents@uky.edu prior to September 1, 2026.
