Spring Family Reunion is a weekend designed for students and their families to reconnect, explore, and enjoy the University of Kentucky and Lexington together. Inspired by the spirit of a traditional family reunion, the weekend encourages shared experiences and quality time, on campus and beyond.
After a pause since 2019, we are excited to bring back this beloved tradition and welcome families once again for a weekend centered on connection, community, and Wildcat pride. Participation is open to all UK students and their families—no alumni affiliation is required. Whether this is your first visit to Lexington or a return to familiar favorites, all families are invited to take part.
Families and students can work together to design their ideal weekend, choosing from signature events like horse farm tours, UK Theatre and Dance’s The Great Gatsby, the UK Softball vs. Tennessee game, and more. There’s also plenty of time built in to explore Lexington at your own pace and enjoy favorite spots, or discover something new.
General registration is $35 per family, and as a thank-you for registering, families will receive Keeneland admission for up to four people, while supplies last, along with transportation perks. Optional add-on experiences allow families to personalize their weekend based on what excites them most.
