Pick Your Path is time set aside during Family Weekend for you to get to know more about some of UK’s wonderful campus resources. You get to decide what you want to learn about and can attend as many sessions as you want! You’ll meet new people around campus, get free stuff, and learn more about UK. Check the UK Guides Family Weekend mobile app in September for information on all available paths and locations.

Free parking will be available in the Cornerstone Parking Garage on South Limestone all day.

Disability Resource Center Servies and Parental Rights in K-12 vs. College in the Gatton College of Business and Economics, room 127

  • Meet with the Disability Resource Center staff to learn more about their services and the critical differences between parental rights in K-12 vs. college.

Learning Bar in the Hilary J. Boone Center, 500 Rose Street, meet in the courtyard

  • The Learning Bar is a hands-on, interactive alcohol education experience for students. Attendees will gain knowledge, skills, and resources to share with your students.

How to Support Your Student's Career Goals in the Stuckert Career Center, Room 101, 408 Rose Street 

  • Help your student prepare for their future career. Whether they are deciding on a major, looking and applying for internships, or needing pre-professional help, we've got you covered. Meet one of our career advisors and discover how Handshake (our online career management platform) can be used to search for internships or full-time employment and provide students with resources. All participants will receive a FREE Career Center t-shirt.

Make It and Take It Care Packages with Transformative Learning at the Hilary J. Boone Center, 500 Rose Street

  • Stop by the Boone Center to make a care package for your student to get them ready for midterms! Meet members of the Transformative Learning Team, such as Integrated Success Coaches, Tutors from The Study & Presentation U, and Supplemental Instruction Leaders.

Office of Student Conduct and Center for Support and Intervention Open House, 5th floor of Patterson Office Tower

  • Students and their families are invited to drop by to meet staff from the Office of Student Conduct and Center for Support & Intervention and get to know more about our work supporting students and the community. We'll have trivia, giveaways, and an opportunity to register to win a door prize of essential UK gear!

STARR (Self-Defense Tactics and Risk Reduction), Alumni Gym

  • Join UK Police for a short introduction to the STARR self-defense program. Learn the basics of hands-on self-defense training which is all active learning. So, get ready to break a sweat! We seek to empower women with the knowledge of how to defend against larger and often stronger attackers. Strikes, kicks, and ground defense techniques are all taught in a non-threatening atmosphere by our instructors who are certified police officers.

Talkspace Information Session, Gatton College of Business & Economics Building, Conference 230

  • Stop by and learn more about how to support the mental health of your student. Our partners from Talkspace are here to answer your questions and help everyone understand the benefits of therapy and early intervention. Learn more about UK's partnership with Talkspace.
