A Taste of the Kentucky Doughnut Trail Family Weekend 2024
In 2012, The New York Times article “Twists and Turns along a Kentucky Doughnut Trail” brought well-deserved publicity to many of the region’s fine doughnut purveyors and introduced the country to one of Kentucky’s sweetest secrets. Now we are bringing those sweet treats to you in the new and improved Taste of the Kentucky Doughnut Trail event during Family Weekend, featuring doughnuts from N. Lime Coffee and Donuts, Frank's Donuts, DoughDaddy's Doughnuts, Donut Days Bakery, and more!
Participants will follow the map to visit 5 doughnut trail locations around campus to learn about UK programs and initiatives, enjoy games and prizes, and sample doughnuts and coffee from some of Lexington's favorite bakeries and shops (gluten-free options will be available). Each trail location will feature a different bakery and a collectible giveaway. Grab a cup of coffee or cold drink, design your own game day sign, get your face painted, and more at one of the game-day stops along the trail. You won't want to miss it!
To better manage crowd sizes at each stop along the trail, please begin the Doughnut Trail in the following locations based on the first letter of your last name:
