Tour of UK's James B. Beam Institute for Kentucky Spirits Family Weekend 2024

Join the James B. Beam Institute for Kentucky Spirits staff for a tour of their new educational distilling facility on campus. Tastings will not be available. Tour capacity is limited based on the size of the facility, and sign-ups are first-come, first-served on the Family Weekend registration form. Tours last approximately 20 minutes. If tours are full or if you are unable to reserve a spot during your desired time slot, you may sign up for our tour waitlist on your Family Weekend registration form. We will contact you if additional tour slots become available.

Location: 1320 Nicholasville Road

Parking: Limited parking is available next to the James B. Beam Institute (15 spaces). Additional parking is available in the K Lot at Kroger Field or in nearby employee (E) lots. Just remember to move all vehicles out of K Lot on Friday evening.

Accessibility:

• This is a 20-minute walking and standing tour with stairs.
• ADA restrooms are available inside the Institute.
• ADA parking is available with any ADA parking permit is available in front of the James B. Beam Institute. Guests may also drop off participants in front of the Institute before parking your vehicle.
