Family Weekend 2023 Wildcat Family Huddle

Family Weekend registrants are invited to a unique opportunity where they will meet other UK families, play get-to-know-you games, and take family photos from the middle of Kroger Field.

Families will enter Kroger Field from Gate 12, and the field entrance will open at 4:30 p.m. We ask all participating families to be on the field by 5 p.m. for the start of the event. 

Water will be provided, but other food and drinks are not allowed on the field.

What to wear: September weather in Kentucky can be a bit unpredictable. We recommend that all participants wear comfortable clothes and shoes (no high heels on the field), and come prepared for warm or cool weather, rain or shine.

Where to park: The closest parking will be in the Kroger Field K lot, though families are welcome to park in any Employee “E” or Core lot during Family Weekend. Families are also welcome to take the Blue or White bus routes for free around campus.

Family Weekend VIP event passes required. No on-site registration sales.

• These events may include visual stimulation such as bright lights, colors, or flashing/strobe lights.
• Getting to or participating in this event may require traveling longer physical distances (0.5+ miles). Guest may need to stand on the field for up to 50 minutes. Seating in the stands is available.
• ADA parking is available with any ADA parking permit at Kroger Field. Guests may also drop off family members with accessibility needs at Gate 1 before parking their vehicles.
• ADA restrooms are available at Kroger Field.
