Alternative Service Breaks (ASB) provides University of Kentucky students with the opportunity to engage in meaningful service during academic breaks. Participants travel in small groups to communities across the country to support local organizations, learn about community-identified needs, and develop their leadership and teamwork skills. Each trip is led by student Site Leaders and supported by staff, combining hands-on service with reflection and group connection.
